Service to the University
Over the past three years, despite disruptions caused by the pandemic, I have grown into my role as Director for the Global Languages & Cultures Room, focusing on supporting student and colleague projects that bring cultural and educational value to the Department and University.

I have contributed to university committees such as the Fulbright Scholarship Committee and the IDeATe Curriculum Committee. I supervised MA students in the School of Drama, supporting a project that utilized spatial technology for interactive props. I actively participate in the annual Meeting of the Minds student symposium and engage in joint XR events, mixers, and grant submissions with colleagues. I mentor students through independent projects, including those for HCI’s METALS Masters Program; and Modern Languages and Dietrich College Students seeking a home and supervisor for their creative projects.

In conclusion, I have actively served the university over the past three years. As the Director of the Global Languages & Cultures Room, and an engaged faculty member, I have supported student and colleague projects that enrich the Department and University. I aim to foster creativity and contribute to the university’s goals.
